Like the regular ECTIVE Multiload chargers, the ECTIVE Multiload LFP models also use an eight-stage charging process . However, this efficient and careful charging process is specifically designed for modern lithium batteries . The intelligent charging system prevents battery damage and ensures, for example, that the battery is only charged at suitable temperatures . The Multiload LFP chargers are compact and lightweight , and equipped with comprehensive protection features . The status indicator always informs you which stage of the charging process your battery is in. Suitable for lithium batteries only.

The eight-stage charging process is highly sophisticated and comprehensive . This results in a longer lifespan and higher performance for your battery compared to using conventional chargers.
The charging process is fully automatic and goes through eight charging stages . Your lithium battery is charged extremely gently .
  • Stage 1: Soft Start
    The charger uses regulated, gently increasing voltages to ensure an extremely gentle start to the charging process. This results in a longer battery lifespan.
  • Stage 2: Main Charge
    The main charging process takes place with maximum current and a carefully increasing voltage until 90% of the total capacity is reached.
  • Stage 3: Residual charge/absorption
    After the main charge, the gentle residual charge takes place with constant voltage and gradually decreasing currents to about 95%.
  • Stage 4: Battery test
    In this step, the charger checks your lithium battery for possible faulty self-discharge. This allows you to identify whether your battery might be defective and should be replaced.
  • Stage 5: Completion
    With an increased charging current, your battery will be charged up to the final charging voltage of 14.5 volts. This charging takes place at 30% of the charger's maximum possible current.
  • Stage 6: Maximization
    The final charge to 100% of the battery capacity is now carried out with increased voltage.
  • Stage 7: Maintenance charge
    The battery is kept at a constant 13.8 volts float voltage without overcharging or damaging it. In this mode, the voltage is continuously monitored. This allows you to leave the Multiload charger connected to your battery for extended periods without worry.
  • Stage 8: Maintenance Charge
    As soon as the voltage drops to a predefined level, the ECTIVE Multiload charger recharges your battery to 100% using a pulse charge.
