More and more electronic devices are becoming more complex in their design and are no longer compatible with the "modified sine wave" output of lower-quality inverters. For trouble-free operation, all ECTIVE inverter series deliver a completely pure sine wave, ensuring that devices are powered just like at home from a wall socket!

To prevent the connected consumer battery from being deeply discharged and to protect consumers from voltage fluctuations, all inverters integrate state-of-the-art safety functions:

With the TSI/CSI and SSI series inverters, the mains priority switching ensures a smooth transition between battery power and mains power. If the batteries run out of power, you can simply connect an external power source and continue using your devices. When you connect the inverter to a generator or, at a campsite, to mains power, the device switches to UPS mode (mains operation) within 16ms. The inverter then continues to operate in standby mode, passing through the mains power.

Another highlight of the ECTIVE inverters in the TSI/CSI and SSI series is their uninterruptible power supply (UPS) function. When mains power is available, the inverter uses it. If this fails, it automatically switches to battery operation within 16 ms. This ensures an uninterrupted power supply for all connected devices.

In ECO mode, the inverter operates in battery priority mode. In this case, the battery supplies all devices with power, even when mains or generator power is connected. The battery priority circuit can remain active until the minimum voltage is reached. At a voltage of 11V, mains priority is activated; this mode is ideal for off-grid operation.

The CSI and SSI inverters, with their integrated charging function, offer a smart solution for recharging. The charging process is fully automatic and gentle on the battery. Once the battery is charged to a preset maximum level, trickle charging activates. This keeps the battery level at a constant level, which extends the battery's lifespan.

The SSI series inverters can be connected directly to solar panels and distribute the generated energy to appliances and the battery. A Max Power Point Tracker (MPPT) ensures that the solar panels' full power potential is utilized and the battery is recharged as quickly as possible. With the eco-friendly ECO mode, you can also configure devices to run exclusively on solar power, even when shore or generator power is available. If no solar power is available, the SSI inverter automatically switches to grid priority.
